Cairo University honors Dr. Bakhit Al-Daaja
On the campus of Cairo University in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Bakhit Al-Dajjah, head of the regional branch of the Arab Union for the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights, was honored with the shield of the Faculty of Law on the occasion of excellence in scientific achievement, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Abdel Hadi Al-Awadi, and a group of distinguished professors and scholars.

A new legal book has been released by Dr. Bakheet Al-Dajeh titled "The Legal Personality of Artificial Intelligence – A Comparative Study in Civil Legislations", published by Dar Al-Thaqafa for Publishing and Distribution – Jordan.
The book explores the possibility of recognizing legal personality for artificial intelligence, particularly applications with intelligent features. It addresses the legal and social challenges and examines the implications of granting such personality within civil laws, especially in relation to civil liability. The book also anticipates potential solutions based on the latest local and European studies. It concludes with several recommendations aimed at bridging legislative gaps, especially in light of the inevitable shift toward intelligent systems that are still rapidly evolving.
